After a few hours of set up (sole flattening) this little plane is a real workhorse. I have another just like it that I set with a slightly different depth so I have one set for an aggressive cut and one set for a conservative cut. I keep them handy as they are used often. I added this plane to my collection of bench planes and it does most of the work. Great tool!!
