Great utility knife in a color that really shows up!
- bright green finish is smooth, even, and nice looking
- a little under 6" long (blade retracted) and a little less than 1 1/2" wide
- weighs 5.6 ounces (with three blades)
- durable, proven design, comfortable in the hand
- requires phillips or large flat-bladed screwdriver to change the blade
- holds 3 extra blades inside the handle
- comes with 3 pointed, double-ended blades; replacements are easily found
- the 3-position blade (4 if you count fully retracted) mechanism is secure and convenient
- "made in USA with global materials"
This model covers the most important points of sturdiness and safety. Except for needing a tool to change the blade, this is pretty much the ideal utility knife!
This review is for: Stanley Regular Duty Utility Retractable Knife number 10-179 (according to the hang card that came with the knife).
