I am a custom fabricator working with wood, metal and electricity everyday. I have gone through more gloves than you could shake a stick at and I have tried them all. The mechanics are really really nice, but these are better. I stumbled upon them one day while in a hardware store. Knowing how often I go through gloves I bought them. Once I started using them I realized that they are the best. Here are the pros and cons. Pro's - best dexterity of any glove I have ever used, great breathability, most comfortable glove, very durable fingers and palm. Cons - the backside is made from a mesh like material, that material melts extremely quickly at relatively low temps (250-350 F), that shouldn't be a gripe, but in trying to be fair an all leather glove would hold up better to fire. Lesson; don't put your gloves in the fire. I have recommended these gloves to friends and now I own a couple pairs so that I can keep a pair in each toolbox.
